When we got up in the morning, we went to the office to eat the advertised breakfast, there was stale cereal in containers, nothing but coffee to drink, but the breakfast items were sitting on a small refrigerator with sodas, juice, and other things that customers were not allowed to use. When I asked if that was part of the breakfast, the woman behind the counter said, "That is ours, it's not for you." I walked away with a cup of fruit loops that we soon found were too stale to eat.
Dated but very clean. Beautiful scenery. Comfortable and affordable. Would recommend this motel for a budget friendly get away
I agree with another review that the furnishing were old, but what disturbed me more was that the sheets were so thin. They could have been replaced at very little cost, and those working there could have been more inviting and no extra cost.
Edited addition We stayed there in July 2014. I wanted to review this motel but didn't get it done. I was just sent a request to review this year.
My daughter and I were traveling alone. We stayed here because it was AAA approved, but when we got there, we were completely disappointed. The people in the office made us feel like we were putting them out to check us in. When we got to our room, the sheets on the bed were so thin we could see the mattress. In the middle of summer, the pool that was advertised was empty. The toilet stopped up twice within two hours of being there. When we called the office, a man came to unplug it and told us not to flush toilet paper down the toilet, because the pipes are old.
Very outdated. Old tvs. Stained bedding, WiFi worked about 45 minutes out of 4 days I was their. Fridge and microwave cannot be used because the plugs must be changed so units can be plugged into a outlet Place was clean but still had to Hurd roaches around after dark. Best thing is its cheap. That's it. Outdoor pool is a sham.
The motel is secluded with poor lighting outside. The rooms are dated however very clean and they also have a.c. however if u need to order food the address on google is incorrect. The address is 127 loop 467 east sonora 76950.
