Our vehicle's alternator failed about 70 miles west of San Antonio on I-10. Our car was able to make it to about 4 miles east of Sonora, Texas on I-10 before the battery completely failed making the vehicle inoperable. I then called AAA and they in turn contacted Blacks Wrecker Towing Service who arrived timely on scene. Mr. Black was quick to diagnose the problem and rendered aid which helped us get the 4 miles into Sonora. Mr. Black also recommended a motel and reputable mechanic which helped us as we knew no one in Sonora. The next morning, our cars battery did not have enough power to start the engine. Mr. Black anticipated this and told us to call in the morning if the car would not start. I then called Mr. Black and he arrived at the motel to jump start our car to allow us to get to the mechanic shop. That morning, the mechanic shop replaced our alternator and got us back on the road. Mr. Black is top notch and he went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. Blacks Wrecker Towing Service is professional, down to earth and we are appreciative that his services got our car off the highway, repaired and ready to finish our journey in a short period of time. Our company had a driver break down in Sonora,TX. I called a wrecker service for help and the first place I called informed me that they could not help me and that there was no one else in the area that would be able to do anything. I saw Blacks Wrecker Service online and decided to call anyway. Mr. Black was very nice and arrived at the scene quickly. He was courteous and the price was fair to tow our truck back to Midland,TX. Blackie was by far the most helpful person of those we encountered in Sonora. He towed our vehicle to Sonora for repair and then to San Angelo when it seemed the local shop needed more time than we were willing to spend. It was cuttingly cold. He towed our RV to a local motel where we had, at least, electricity so we could stay in it. Our propane was too quickly exhausted but Blackie made a special point of helping us get it replenished. In San Angelo, he took us by the rental agency so we could rent a car and not have to be without transportation. Ours is a stunning story of things going wrong. Blackie is at the top of those which went right.
